• Dr. Ahmed Yousri finished his Bachelor of Medicine from MUST and is currently undergoing his studies for the Membership at the Royal College of Psychiatrists – London – UK.
• His basic training was carried at the Abasseya Hospital, where he has been practicing as a Resident Psychiatrist since 2022.
• He’s specialized in the assessment and treatment of General Adult Psychiatry which includes: Depression, Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, Liaison psychiatry and Addiction Medicine.
• Dr. Ahmed Yousri is also an experienced psychotherapist and a certified CBT therapist for depression, anxiety and OCD. He also completed a training in DBT for borderline personality disorder.

• Marina completed her Master’s in Counselling Psychology at Gonzaga University in Washington, USA and holds her Bachelors in Psychology and Biological Sciences from the University of Alberta in Canada.
• She completed her practicum and training at the Family Centre in Edmonton, Alberta and at Al-Mashfa Psychiatric Hospital in Cairo. Marina continues to provide her services to her clients in Canada while providing the same ethical and competent practice in Egypt.
• Marina specializes in working with couples who experience challenges due to infidelity, communication difficulties, coping with stressful challenges, financial pressures, difficulty balancing individual and couple expectations, and divorce/separation. She also works with parents who struggle with their children’s behavioural and psychological needs.
• Marina is a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) through the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. As well as a member of the Alpha Sigma Nu Jesuit Society in America. She’s working towards getting certified as a Gottman couples therapist.

• Dr. Monica Diaa finished her Bachelor of Medicine from Cairo University and is currently undergoing her studies for the Membership at the Royal College of Psychiatrists – London – UK.
• Her basic training was carried at the Maadi Military Psychiatric Hospital, Abasseya Hospital and Al Mashfa Hospital.
• She’s specialized in the assessment and treatment of General Adult Psychiatry which includes: Depression, Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety and Personality Disorders.
• Dr. Monica Diaa is also an experienced psychotherapist and has attended many courses in CBT for Anxiety and Personality Disorders.

• Verna is a clinical psychologist holding a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Gibraltar, trained formally in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and currently completing her practicum toward COSRT certification as a psychosexual therapist under clinical supervision.
• Verna works with adults on a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, low mood, relationship and communication difficulties, life transitions, stress, and burnout. She’s an expert in helping people struggling with emotional dysregulation and interpersonal patterns addressed through DBT-informed skills work.
• Verna specializes in the treatment of Sexual Disorders such as low desire, performance anxiety, mismatched libido, vaginismus and painful sex; body image and intimacy-related shame.
• She studied cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) at Beck Institute, USA and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) training from B-tech, USA.
• Verna trained in various clinical settings: the Behman Hospital, Abu el Azaym Hospital and as a university counselor.
• Sessions are available in Arabic and English.

Master in Psychiatry – Kasr Al Ainy – Cairo University

Allya had her basic training in Kasr Alainy Psychiatry and Addiction Hospital and currently works there as a Lecturer in Psychiatry.

During the training years, she worked in the fields of Adult, Addiction, Geriatric and Child Psychiatry. She finds great interest in Child Psychiatry as it not only includes dealing with the young ones, it also has to do with parenting and raising new generations. 

• Yousra obtained her bachelor degree in psychology from The American University in Cairo.
• She is currently pursuing her MSc in psychology at Liverpool John Moores University.
• She completed a professional addiction counselling diploma from Udemy, She is certified by the American board of NLP, a CBT coach certified by The Priority Academy, and a mindful life coach certified by Coaching Studies Academy.
• Yousra received her clinical training at Al-Mashfa Psychiatric Hospital in Cairo.
• She has experience in providing psychotherapy to individuals facing Mood disorders, Traumatic stress disorders and personality disorders.

Dr. Carine Abouseif is a psychologist who was trained in New York City and California.

She holds a Masters of Education in School Psychology – Doctorate of Psychology in School-Clinical Child Psychology – Pace University, New York, NY.

She specialized in play therapy and psychological assessments for preschool and school-aged children with different childhood disorders, including developmental disabilities, attachment issues, learning problems and social-emotional difficulties.

She has also worked within the foster care system with children and families struggling with the effects of sexual, physical and emotional abuse and neglect.

Throughout her training, Dr. Carine has gained experience in working with adolescents and adults with a range of mental health disorders, providing individual, group and family psychotherapy, crisis intervention, milieu therapy and psychological assessments.

• Holds a Bachelor of Clinical Psychology and a Bachelor of Education from Helwan University
• Holds a Masters of Clinical Psychology from Helwan University
• Expert in Psychological Testing (Personality, IQ and Cognitive testing) administered hundreds of tests for people presenting with a huge array of psychological disorders ranging from Scholastic difficulties to adults and children with ADHD to different Personality disorders.
• Experience in eclectic psychotherapy with a special emphasis on Positive Psychology.
